- Overseeing 8 Wonders of Kansas contests;
- Writing the We Kan! and Explorer newsletters;
- Directing the Kansas Explorers Club;
- Hosting a Kansas game show;
- Speaking on a variety of Kansas topics;
- Presenting Kansas slide shows;
- Facilitating retreats and planning sessions;
- Providing story leads for the media;
- Overseeing special projects;
- Consulting daily with rural communities.
