She appreciates the geography but her favorite discoveries are always the people and cuisine.
Simone feels that overcoming the perception that rural is less than urban is one of the main issues in rural Kansas. Through the Kansas Sampler Foundation, rural communities in Kansas are given a platform and network that helps them showcase the positive things that make them unique and vital to not only our state, but our nation. It has been incredible to work with a variety of different rural communities that have found benefit from the positivity and encouragement of Marci and WenDee and the KSF network.
Simone is currently a loan office at Western State Bank in Leoti. She has been a NetWork Kansas E-Community Coach for Western Kansas and is a Wichita County AIM Coalition Member.
