WenDee Rowe, continued

After working at the Lee Richardson Zoo, the Finney County Museum, and the Finney County Convention and Visitors Bureau in Garden City, WenDee served as the local organizer for the Kansas Sampler Festival in 2005.  She was hired by the Kansas Sampler Foundation in 2006 and oversaw the annual festival until it ended in 2017. WenDee is now in charge of communications and promotion of the Big Kansas Road Trip and acts as the liaison with community organizers.

WenDee also helps coordinate the conferences, workshops, and Explorer activities of the Kansas Sampler Foundation and oversees functions held at the Kansas Sampler Center.

Born and raised in Tribune, WenDee has two daughters and four grandchildren.
