Anyone
interested in being part of a fast-paced, interactive, action-oriented
event designed to move rural Kansas forward should register at kansassampler.org. The cost of the event is $45, which includes a noon meal.
Just
a few of the topics to be discussed will be community communication,
local foods usage, re-purposing downtowns, statewide house concert
circuit, integrating technology community-wide, empowering PowerUps
(21-39s who are rural by choice), and a new model for small town
economic development.
Those from rural communities, especially between the ages of 21-39, are specifically encouraged to attend, but everyone is welcome.
Only 200 slots are available. A list of those already registered is found at kansassampler.org.
